Can you briefly explain what your solution is all about? What’s unique about it?
Innovative hybrid financial instrument provided to Insurers and Financial institutions to effectively de-risk Investors guaranteeing investment exclusively in Green Projects.
What led you to start or join your company? What is the key motivation and mission behind the startup?
We all have to do our best to mitigate the Climate Emergency, Deriveum can be very useful in that regard.
What’s the biggest milestone your startup has achieved so far, and what has surprised you most on this journey?
As a milestone we have graduated successfully from the technical and regulatory sandbox of the Central Bank of Lithuania/ECB. What surprised us during the journey was that it took longer than we anticipated.
How has X-Europe helped you during the past few months?
The mentoring was amazing.
What are your goals over the next 3, 6, and 12 months?
We will complete our application to the EIC in the next 3 months, hope to get funded in 6, and be on our way to licensing in 12 months.
What advice would you give to an entrepreneur trying to pave his/her way in the Fintech landscape?
It is a very conservative landscape with people not used to change. Be prepared.
What one piece of advice would you give your 21-year-old self?
Be bolder and follow your dreams.
