The last Cohort 1 startup we interviewed is Exponential Technologies, which is an AI-driven DoE software to conduct experiments and data analysis faster and easier than ever before.
Hi, what's your name? Hi, I’m Matthias, Co-founder and CEO of Exponential Technologies.
Can you briefly explain what your solution is all about? What’s unique about it?
xT smart_DoE supports engineers to develop and optimize chemical compositions and growth parameters for bioreactors and other machines. This reduces go-to-market time and costs of vaccines, new functional materials, and more...
How can your solution impact the Health sector?
By reducing the time and costs for the development and scaling of vaccines and other pharmaceuticals xT smart_DoE has a huge impact on the health sector and could be crucial to react fast to the next viral outbreak or health emergency.
Since the foundation of your company, what has been its biggest milestones? What challenges are you still trying to overcome?
We could evaluate our approach together with the University of Latvia and could show the real impact that our solution can have for vaccine production scaling. The success of this pilot project allowed us to start a project together with a vaccine development company. We also have upcoming projects in the fields of enzyme production. We would love to have more corporate partners. So if you have a problem in the development of pharmaceuticals or new chemical compositions, lets us know, we are ready to support you.
What was the status of your product before joining X-Europe? How has your original product vision evolved?
We will actually introduce Version 2 of our software within the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
After joining and benefiting from the services X-Europe has provided to you, what next steps do you envision?
We have to further improve the UX/UI of the product, start heavily with corporate pilots and consulting jobs, and then boost our product sales.
What tips do you have for entrepreneurs trying to succeed in the HealthTech/BioTech field?
Proof and test your software whenever and wherever you can!
What’s unique about the X-Europe programme?
I liked that it was mainly online, which allowed us to build the program around our schedules. The mentors and courses were also very good.
